GM: Hal Steinbrenner demanded deal

Make it stop. There is no combination of stupidity the baby Stein can possibly muster to save this franchise. They have ruined it. One bad move begets another.

What makes this hurt are two things. One Soriano hasn't been an attractive player since WE traded him away 2 wars ago. Its such a pathetic move that when I saw the team boasting about the acquisition on facebook (I have stopped going to the Yankees or any baseball site for the remainder of the season) I was overwhelmingly filled with hate. There is no parallel dimension where you pat yourself on the back for acquiring Alfonso Soriano in 2013.

Two, they actually traded someone away for this and didn't just absorb the awful contract he was given. How cheap/stupid has this franchise become? The most aggravating part about this is that I don't even know who the A-baller they traded away is because I can't stomach to follow this shit show at all this year.

The worst time is always the best time

I couldn't be more disconnected from my Yankee fandom as I am now. Which makes me think there is no better time than now to finally start this Yankee blog I officially created years ago.

Today the Yankees are currently 4th in the division and and tied for 7th overall in the league as we crawl into the All-Star break.

I haven't made it through a single game all season. As the new dark age begins so does this blog. Let it be a sanctuary for accusations, conspiracies, criticisms, and blind rage.
